OUR VISION AT LIFEPLACE - CHURCHES WEST END
The future of our church is exciting. Our vision at Lifeplace - Churches West End, is a snapshot of this future, and it is this vision that unites many diverse people towards a single goal. Our purpose at Lifeplace - Churches West End goes way beyond just having meetings or going through the tradition of church. Rather, Lifeplace - Churches West End see the local church as the instrument of God in our generation to bring hope and love to the people of our city, nation, and the world.
The passion of our church at Lifeplace - Churches West End is to see people who are far from God discover His love and purpose for their lives, and then equip them to reach their potential. The purpose statement of why the church exists was given to us in the Bible. It is known as the Great Commission. It is where Jesus gave us His mission statement:
Matthew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
This describes the heartbeat of why we exist - to disciple people. Lifeplace - Churches West End articulate it this way:
The vision of Lifeplace is to equip people to be the church seven days a week.
Lifeplace - Churches West End see a city within a city, with multiple generations and multiple nationalities coming together to be a blessing to the community, helping the poor, influencing the marketplace, strengthening the family, and being a beacon of light to our nation.
